Begger - give or no give?

When you see beggars at road side, will you give them money?
I will give but my hubby will not layan them. To him, as long as they have hands and legs, then they should look for job but not stay at road side or street to ask for sympathy. He is right in some points. We read so many news from local newspaper that some beggars actually have good income from begging around other people. Some even drive big car and hire driver too.
The reason I gave is I cannot hold my feeling each time see them wear dirty clothing and sit at road side or street. They must be having some difficulties finding job, that’s why they have to beg from other. I gave not much too, 20 cents, 50 cents or RM1, depend how much change I have in hand. That’s it.
Just wish our government will do something to reduce beggars at road side. So that our country will have good image or reputation for tourist.
