From the case of toys maker Mattel global recall of china made toys. The world is questioning the product safety of made in china products. I know about this since long time ago, made in china product doesn’t give good impression because I know where the source of their raw material come from and how the manufacturing process condition.
Today you see many recycling company setting up everywhere and giving good price to buy back your old TV, VCD, PC and etc. regardless the working conditions. You know, all the scrap collected will be export to china for recondition, reclaim of recyclable component. End up they put the components into their made in china product and re-export back to the 3rd world countries like us.
Well, not all make in china products are poor in quality. I still confident with those international brand that build /assemble in china. At least the raw material and the process control are well managed.
Those china make products without brand are the one /not dare to touch. Be careful when you choose a china brand DVD player in the hyper market
Product safety of electrical appliances may not be a bit concern in china because they are using 110v power source. It may shock you but unlikely you will kill. But in Malaysia, you better take of the voltage using. We are using 240v power source that may kill you.
