Book worm!

You know, our government allow us, tax payers to claim up to RM1000 for the books that we purchased throughout the year. Some people commented RM1000 cannot give us lot of saving in taxable income, but to me, it is ok. As long as I can claim back certain amount, it is sufficient for me already. It is impossible our government will subsidy for all the books or magazines that you buy, correct or not?
In year 2007, I did not buy much children books coz my FIL and SIL will buy for my kids from time to time. Our book shelf almost 95% fully occupied now. If I buy again, guess we will have to buy additional book shelf lor!
