Above is the price list for our Malaysia petrol price. As you can see from the list, the increment happened once a year, sometimes twice a year too. The increment is less than 5 cents for the past 5 years ago, however from 2005 onwards, it turned to 10 to 30 cents. It is quite a big amount to us, especially those lower income family.
Now the estimation shown that it will up 60 cents max. Hehe…my estimation is RM2.10, means that the up price is way below my expectation. So should I feel happy for it?
Well, it is still too far to say that. Let’s wait and see.

According to the paper, Bukit Tinggi in Pahang reported 4 times minor rock since 2nd December. The report brought up my attention because all time I m monitoring the possibility of migration of the rock from Sumantra to Peninsula.
Will it happen one day ? And when ?
My concern is, how many high rise building in this country were designed in to withstand the rock ? To which extend the building can take up.
Anyway, I m not the expert to comment on this topic.
Because of this, I hold back my idea to own a high rise apartment in the KL area, I m not willing to take the risk of loosing several $100k of my hard earn money just like that, because I believe it will happen one day.
For those who already the property owner, you many need to reconsider the risk of holding such property for long term investment.
Is time to remember the case of Highland Tower.

Unethical docs
Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in /home/onelittl/public_html/myblog/wp-content/plugins/tpbc.php on line 96
This morning I heard news from radio broadcast. It was saying a patient who was checked on 15 times a day while he was staying at a private hospital was charged RM3, 000. Another was billed RM2, 000 for the 10 times he was checked on. So these patients have the right to file official complaints. Well, these only happen in private hospitals. So far, I yet to hear any complaint for similar cases from our goament hospital.
Overcharge cases not a new topic in our society now. Sometimes those unethical docs will simply increase their consultation fees without your knowledge, especially when they know you have medical cards that can fully subsidy your medical fees. Sad to see this incident ya!

Proton

Last Friday Proton announce the first profit after suffer of 5 consecutive net loss from the past quarter. The announcement not only attract attention of market watchers, it also attract my attention to relook the national car maker performance.
Proton share price has drop to RM3.60 level after Gov announce the termination of JV talk with VW. The share price is in historical low and I m considering to put some money in for long term investment.
I consider a low risk to own Proton share at RM 3.60.
I try to dig out the company past year financial report for my own reference before I make the final decision to put my money in. Table below shows the 6Qs P&L data that I dig out from Bursa Malaysia. Actually there is no improvement in term of revenue and operating cost for the past 6 quarter. However, I strongly believe the situation will further improve in Q3 when the revenue of Persona were booked into the accounting.
OK, I will bit for Proton tomorrow morning when the market open.

I came across a very good website via Gbay blog that our driving license can be renewed online now. I am happy to know this meaning that in future I can do the renewal online instead of going to Post Office and queue up and wait. Sometimes in Post Office the process can be done pretty fast but sometimes very slow, depends on the staff mood. Usually I will go before I reach office; mean by 8.30am I already reach Post Office. If I am lucky then I can get No.1 or 2, so I can get it done within 10-15 min, and I will not late to office too. However sometimes it will be lot of people waiting at door gate by 8.30am, then I have to wait longer and might late to office.
Hopefully the website is reliable and fast processing, else having a website also useless. You know lar, goament website very easy get hacked by others. Hehe….
If you wish to try out renew your driving license online, do check out the site at :

Be smart!

Police gets RM100 cash reward if they arrest you for bribery.
The Police are smart, we must be smarter, spread this news around so that we don’t get arrested for trying to bribe. This is just a gimmick by police…they will tahan u…then ask to pay bribe RM30…then when u give they will catch u for bribing them… after that they get RM100… see how business are done… Newspapers a few days ago. They are raising rewards to police to RM100 for reporting bribes made to them. So if u think u can get away with a bribe of RM50 for a traffic offence, better think again. Cash reward for cops who arrest anyone trying to bribe them.
KUALA LUMPUR :
A cash reward of up to RM100 and a letter of commendation will be given to police personnel who arrest anyone who
attempts to bribe them. Acting Inspector-General of Police Datuk Musa Hassan said the reward would be for Traffic, Criminal Investigations Department and Narcotics Department police personnel. He added that the reward was to spur policemen to uphold the integrity of the force. “The reward offer is also to let our men know that we appreciate them for their honesty and loyalty.
“We also hope to inculcate in our men that accepting bribes is a very serious offence and does not pay,” he added. In Kuantan, Pahang police chief Datuk Ramli Yusuff said the cash reward would be double the bribe offered and up to a maximum of RM100. Ramli told Bernama that the reward would be paid after the person who offered the bribe had been charged and the case concluded in the courts. “I will personally hand over the reward to the police personnel concerned,” he said, adding that the incentive would be paid from the Pahang Police Fund. Earlier, at the monthly parade held at state police headquarters, Ramli said L/Kpl Bakri Pandak Ahmad of the Kuantan traffic police was rewarded with RM100 last month for arresting a man who had offered him a RM50 bribe

Petrol subsidy
Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in /home/onelittl/public_html/myblog/wp-content/plugins/tpbc.php on line 96
Did you know what had been discussed in the latest Perhimpunan Pemuda UMMO? I am shocked to hear the content when it is broadcast in local TV. The hot pemuda UMMO, Khairy share with us his very “professional” speech on Thursday UMMO Youth General Assembly. He mentioned that petrol subsidy should not give to people who drove big and luxury car, but should give to people who drive National car or smaller cc car. What is your reaction when you hear this statement? Hehe..I am sure your mind will be same as me!
How to classify rich or poor people? By looking at what car they drive is it sufficient? I don’t think so. Some super rich family are low profile people, they will not drive big and luxury car to show off to other. Another low profile reason is they worry of car snatching case which is so horrible now. They rather drive normal car just to avoid such bad incident. So, in this case, how are you going to classify them? Frankly I am totally disagree with his statement, which is not logic to implement this discrimination of petrol subsidy to public.

Our Malaysia’s first Angkasawan Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor is back, after completed his 11-days stint in space. I think the happiest person in the world will be his parents or girlfriend since he had returned safely to Earth on last Sunday.Frankly I cannot remember his name, all I knew is he has a Doctor as gelaran. By the way, I can remember his handsome face very clearly, even in my dream! LOL…true ler, he is such a handsome guy to me. I am sure many of you agreed with me. No?
This time our goament really spent a lot on this project, some of you might strongly disagree with the project, like me but when I watch the live from TV, I feel so proud of him, so does to our country! At that time, I never think of how much they spent lor, only think of : Wow! Our Angkasawan going to “harum” our Malaysia name in the space.

Beware of share market
Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in /home/onelittl/public_html/myblog/wp-content/plugins/tpbc.php on line 96
Another big drop of US stock market begins on last Friday. Main reason causing the drop was crude oil price, high employment rate and slows down of real estate sale. Investors sell off their stock for cash due to worry of global economy slow down.
High chance for Asian market to follow the trend on coming Monday opening. BSKL CI is my main concern. I estimate a 25 points drop on Monday and CI would drop below 1300 points in one week if no positive move in the US market.
Another important market shouldn’t ignore is the China Stock market has been over heated for quite sometimes. The Chinese are so lucky because not being hit by the storm initiated by the supreme mortgages issue. Pray hard, they are ready to survive in the coming disasters.

Where is the justification?
Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in /home/onelittl/public_html/myblog/wp-content/plugins/tpbc.php on line 96
This is not new to me. I learnt how gov agencies work about 15 year ago when I work as a part time worker in a company having business relationship with several gov agencies.
Obviously this is misconduct. It is a very serious offence if someone committed the some fraud in the private sector. The person may be in jail if found guilty. Look at the case of Transmil and Megan Media. But how come Malaysia gov can tolerate the misconduct happen in not only one but many gov agencies?
Deputy PM only asked for explanation and no other more important containment action being taken. As a tax payer, I am expecting a police report being lodged. Immediate suspension of high level management team of the affected agencies until the completion of investigation. Someone must send to court and face necessary punishment if fount guilty.
Now I started to question myself, why shall I pay tax to the gov since there is no control over the public fund utilization? Paying tax is no longer meaningful since only a small group of people will be beneficial. I really want to see the outcome after this. What kind of punishment will be act on the people who found guilty of misconduct?
