Do you pay your credit card annual renewal fee? As I know some of them still paying.
I become a credit card holder since year 1996 but I only pay once for the past 11 years. I still remember that is the fee I paid to Public Bank for my Visa and Master card renewal.
In year 1997, I terminate the cards coz the bank rejected my request for annual fee waiver. Well, it is not a big deal since I can simply pick up an application form from other bank and get another credit card one week later. Since then, I did not pay the annual renewal fee till now!
Of course I have to write in yearly to the company for annual fee waiver. I don’t see any justification to pay the annual fee to the credit card company that making money from our spending. The more we spend through their credit card, the higher profit they gain. Why should we pay since we are the one helping them make money?
Besides that, we are receiving advertisement attached with the monthly statement. Did the company ask for our permission before sending this of junk mail over? Do you think the company do it free for the advertiser?
Hehe….do think about it? My hubby ever thinks of sending back those advertisement flyers to the credit card company!
