FIL needs car

Hubby wishes to change a car for his dad, my father-in-law. Currently my FIL is driving an old car that he had owned for more than 20 years. Hubby said it is time to change for him coz he afraid the old car will suddenly breakdown while he is driving on the road. Therefore hubby is eagerly look for a car for him now, may not buy him a brand new car though. Second hand car will be his priority since my FIL is not the type who knows how to handle well on automotive. Well, he will definitely look for second hand car that is still in good condition.
Other than that, he also need to find out latest insurance rates for second hand car too. There are plenty of car insurance companies in the market now, so it should not be a problem for him. Right?
