Nowadays, salesman from all sort of organization seems very easy to enter school field to promote their products and services. I always heard stories from my SIL#3 about salesman too. Some of the sales agents are from book store, insurance line, health care, etc. surprisingly books sale agents never approach my company though, even from health care center also very few. Maybe school teachers are more loaded than us! LOL.
Anyway, lately I had been approached by a salesman from one of the publisher. I heard about his promotion from my SIL#3 before; whereby you buy 1 or 2 books from them, and then they will offer you extra 2-3 books for free. Very attractive, right?
So I asked my SIL#3 to inform the salesman to contact me, as I have the interest to buy his book range too. At first I am not sure will he come to my working place since it is quite far. Surprisingly after tele-conversation, he willing to travel 25KM and meet up with me. I think his company allow him to do Mileage reimbursement, that’s why he willing to travel!
I did not disappoint him too. I placed my book subscription with him for 2 years for Reader Digest, and can free copy of Disney Chanel and Mummy Bobo for one year duration. Fair deal>
