I remember the first time we decided to take our little HouseMonster on a trip. It was only a local DAY out... but still. We had to make sure that we pack everything under the sun for a hiking trip up the Table Mountain, South Africa. It is amazing with a little one how things are! Our HouseMonster won't fly, so we had to (and even ow) think about whether to rent a car or not! Walking boots for us (and her) and water, and hiking gear (strollers etc)... In the end we did not go, it turned out to be more of a hassle. The next trip we did was to Disneyland Paris! THAT she loved. Going by train worked out well! And like you, we spared no cost on the travel package! hehehehe I do miss the days though when we could just grab a backpack, a outdoors jacket and go off in the rain (would love to say sunset but in winter that don't happen here in London!) Alas... those were the days! This post brought back some memories!
