Open Office - Freeware software

My dear hubby just download a free version of Open Office from internet yesterday. He asked me to try it out, if I already can get use it, then he will remove the MS Office since this software is not free at all..yeah, my notebook MS Office is pirated software! LOL
The good part for Open Office is we can just open one window and do for Excel and Word. Well, I yet to explore this software but I noticed most of the icons are same with MS Office. I think should be ok to use!
