Round & Sweet Tang Yuan

This year “Dong Zhi” fall on 22/12/2007. My kids have the chance to roll and do their own tang yuan. Hehe…therefore we can see lot of different sizes of tang yuan in the soup.
By the way, let me tell you what is tang yuen first. It is glutinous rice balls that are a must for the Dong Zhi celebration. My MIL will make the sweet soup for tang yuen whereas my mum will cook both sweet and salty type. Both equally nice taste. Too bad, this year I did not snap any photo of our kids made tang yuen.
