Spirulina is a popular health-food supplement among us. I learn from internet that the name “spirulina” is derived from the Latin word for “helix” or “spiral”; denoting the physical configuration of the organism when it forms swirling, microscopic strands.
I will keep spirulina stock at home, mainly consume by my kids. My main purpose is to ensure they can get balance diets that dedrive from spirulina. Sometimes my kids quite picky about their food, occasionally they will reject vegetable too. So I have to feed them spirulina to ensure their diet is balance with all nutrient.
But I use to buy spirulina from Cosway which is less pricey than buying from direct sale. To me, all serve the same purpose, so why spend so much money for it?
