I have one colleague who allows her hubby to use her name to register for majority of registration or application, including loan, business, house, property, credit card and many more, you just name it. She feel happy coz her hubby use her name for all, meaning that ( her perception) her hubby love and concern about her.
One day, she received love letter from local court, charging her for not paying dunno what fee and also some summons. She is panic coz she did not know what’s going on. Immediately she called her DH and find out the truth, then only she know her DH’s business partner had run away, and left all shit to her!
See, this is the bad side of using your name for all purpose. If you want glamour, make sure your DH name is registered together with your name. Anything happen, both of you can bear and suffer together, NOT you alone bear the cost only.
Pity my colleague, her name was sued under bankruptcy and being black listed too!
Ladies/women, be wise and think carefully hor!
Sorry to heard about that, but I have to say that why your colleague so stupid? It still acceptable to use her name for personal loan or related matter, but why for business use? And I think she sure beware of her husband too! Where got such man use wife name for such thing? It’s either he is bankruptcy or he is dam selfish and chicken heart person.

Yeah, sorry to hear about your colleague predicament. I think your colleague is a classic case of a trusting wife. Really got to be careful if people use your name to register for business purposes eventhough it’s your own husband, huh? I guess your colleague got to learn it the hard way. Same as what SYH said, I also thinks maybe your colleague’s husband is a bankruptcy himself or he is really a very selfish, chicken hearted person to begin with.
